Special Branch

We specialise in enriching wildlife habitats. Our particular focus is to enable red squirrels to thrive in the Lothians by promoting the general good health of woodlands and managing tree species to attract native red squirrels rather than invasive greys. We also specialise in creating structures for hedgehogs.

We enable local community projects to enrich their wildlife habitats.

Richard has a background in practical estate management. With over 20 years experience of tree care he has developed precise and efficient pruning techniques using tree surgeon (arborist) handsaws. He also has NPTC chainsaw and tree climbing licences.
